[ Repair work of the Large-scale parallel computing server ]

The repair work of the Large-scale parallel computing server has completed. The queue P_064 and DP_002 are also available.

[ maintenance operation of the Large-scale parallel computing server ]

Following the cancellation of the emergency declaration, we will repair the Large-scale parallel computing server that was suspended from April 22. Because of this operation, the service of the Large-scale parallel computing server will be suspended during the following period.

We have deleted your old SSH public key at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2020. When you login to the supercomputing system after that, please re-create your public key on the public key registration system.

[ stop the service of queues ]

Because of the system problem occurred on April 22, we stopped both of queue DP_002 and P_064. We will let you know after the service is resumed.

[ system problem ]

In response to the emergency declaration over COVID-19, all staff and engineers who operate and maintain the supercomputing system work from home.
On the Large-scale parallel computing server, the following problem occurred today.
4/22 8:00: the temperature in the cabinet increased
4/22 11:50-12:20: 43 calculation nodes went down
Therefore, we stopped 117 calculation nodes including down 43 nodes to prevent the spread of the problem at 20:35.
In response to the emergency declaration over COVID-19, people from outside Miyagi prefecture are not permitted to come to our center in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. Then, we cannot repair them now and it is not able to predict when these nodes will be repaired.
We will let you know after these nodes work. We will announce information related to this problem on our web site.
We apologize for your inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
